Gabapentin (brand names: Neurontin®, Aclonium®, Equipax®, Gantin®, Gabarone®, Gralise®, Neurostil®, Progresse®) is an anti-seizure and pain medication that is prescribed by veterinarians to address seizures in animals and is also used to for chronic pain. It may also be used for fear and anxiety associated with veterinary visits.
